Mediterranean-style starter home
Born and raised in Oakland, California, Zendaya put down her first roots in Southern California in 2016 at just 20 years old, purchasing a $1.4 million starter home as her career began to gain momentum. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom property is a renovated Mediterranean-style house, which she enthusiastically shared with fans on Instagram. In early 2017 she also offered a more personal glimpse inside via her subscription app, highlighting details such the curved staircase in the grand entryway, which she affectionately compared to a “Cinderella spiral staircase” and named as her favourite feature. ‘Guys, I’ve always wanted stairs like this literally since I was a little girl,’ she said in the video clip. ‘I’ve never lived in a two-storey house or a house with air-conditioning or a house with a pool, so this is crazy.’ Spanning 4,155 square feet, the home includes a gourmet chef’s kitchen, a primary suite complete with a vanity and powder room, and a backyard with a pool and spa. Zendaya is reported to still own the property.
Ranch-style Encino home
In late 2019, Zendaya picked up a second property in the San Fernando Valley, purchasing a ranch-style residence in Encino for for $3.97 million. In contrast to the more decorative feel of her first home, this one is notably more pared back, defined by a clean, understated aesthetic. The house offers six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, with hardwood floors running throughout.
Set within 3.72 acres of secluded grounds, the estate feels distinctly private, anchored by a main residence spanning more than 5,000 square feet, alongside a separate guest house, private hiking trails and a newly installed pool. Inside, a generous eat-in kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, while multiple fireplaces and a serene primary suite with a built-in tub add to the sense of quiet luxury. The property is widely thought to have been acquired as an investment. According to Variety, it was briefly listed on the rental market for $12,900 a month. Zendaya is believed to still own the home.
Waterfront Brooklyn apartment
The Dune star next extended her reach to the East Coast, next turned to the East Coast, acquiring a striking three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom apartment in Brooklyn’s Quay Tower for $4.9 million at the end of 2020. Set within a waterside luxury condominium designed by New York–based architecture firm ODA alongside Los Angeles–based Marmol Radziner, the building pairs contemporary design with refined finishes throughout. Inside, wide-plank oak floors, custom oak cabinetry and high-end Gaggenau appliances define the kitchen and living spaces, while floor-to-ceiling windows frame uninterrupted views across the East River, particularly spectacular at sunset. Among its most desirable features is a private elevator that opens directly into the apartment, offering both discretion and security. Zendaya is believed to still own the property.
Tom Holland’s London abode
Holland reportedly bought a $3.35 million (2.5 million British pounds) home in his native London in 2018, three years before the pair publicly confirmed their romantic relationship. Extensive renovations began on the three-story home in 2020 and were completed in 2023, when Zendaya is understood to have moved in. Holland added a new addition to the six-bedroom house, bumping its estimated value to about $4.7 million (3.5 million British pounds). Though we don’t know much about the home’s interior, it reportedly boasts a home cinema and a gym.
